Self-employed Working Subcontractors operating under a Sole Trader or Partnership ABN must register with LeavePlus as a Working Subcontractor. They can also make optional contributions to the fund if they choose, to build up entitlement to a Long Service Leave Benefit in the future.

What happens if I employ Workers?

If you are employing Workers or Apprentices, you must register with LeavePlus as an Employer. You must provide LeavePlus with information on your Workers and the number of days worked by submitting quarterly Workers Days and Wages (WDW) returns.
