Support

We’re here to support our members. Let’s make sure you’re set up for success with LeavePlus.

From finding your member number, to setting up your access and protecting your profile – we’ve got you covered with our support tips and references below.

When you first register with us as a member you will be issued with a LeavePlus member number. Your initial registration email will contain your member number, and we may send other communications to you from time to time that contain your LeavePlus member number.

Prior to 14 August 2023, LeavePlus was known as CoINVEST. If you registered with us before that date, you will have been issued with a CoINVEST member number.  Your LeavePlus member number is the same as your CoINVEST member number. Again, you can find your member number on your initial registration email from us and it may be contained in other communications which we may have sent to you from time to time.

If you cannot find your member using the above steps, please contact LeavePlus Membership Services. When contacting LeavePlus, we will need to confirm your identity in line with our privacy policy.

If you need support or have a question that you can’t find the answer to on the LeavePlus website, please visit our Contact Us page to find out how to get in touch with LeavePlus.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) helps to ensure that you are the only person who can access your LeavePlus member profile online – even if someone finds out your password. To be MFA-ready, we need your current mobile number – this is the number we’ll send your authentication codes to for logging in after you have set up your MFA.

To get started, log in to the LeavePlus member portal with your member number and password. Ensure that your current mobile phone number is listed on your profile.

  • Select ‘Security’ from the settings menu (select ‘Security’ from the ‘More’ menu if using a mobile device or tablet).
  • Select ‘ Set up’ – you will be prompted to re-enter your password for security confirmation and to also confirm your mobile phone number.
  • An SMS will be sent to your mobile phone with an access code. Enter the code to finalise your MFA setup.
  • Now you’re all set up – next time you log in to the LeavePlus member portal, your MFA will be active. You will be required to enter your member number and password and will be sent a new SMS code to log in.

It is important for LeavePlus to know who has permission to transact and make enquiries on your behalf when it comes to your long service leave.

As a worker member you can give authority to another person(s) to speak with LeavePlus on your behalf. There are two types of permissions you can give:

  • Authorised Contacts
  • Power of Attorney

Authorised Contacts

An Authorised Contact is a person or organisation that you authorise to speak with LeavePlus on your behalf.

An Authorised Contact will have limited access to your account. This means they can make enquiries about your account and service record. However, they cannot update or change any details on your account – this can only be performed by you as the member.

Power of Attorney

A Power of Attorney (POA) is a person that you have provided written authorisation to represent or act on your behalf in business and/or legal matters.

In Victoria a POA is referred to as an Enduring Power of Attorney.

A POA will have full access to your account. This means they can:

  • Update your account details.
  • Submit claims.
  • Enquire about your long service leave entitlement.

Visit our Authorised Contacts page to find out how to add or remove authorised representatives to your LeavePlus member profile.
