We’re here to support our members. Let’s make sure you’re set up for success with LeavePlus.

From finding your LeavePlus Registration Number, to setting up your access and protecting your profile – we’ve got you covered with our support tips and references below.

When you register with LeavePlus, you’re given a registration number. You can find the number on your welcome email and other emails we’ve sent you.

If you registered prior to 14 August 2023, you would have a CoINVEST registration number. You can continue to use that number when contacting LeavePlus or when changing employers.

If you can’t find your registration number, ask your employer for it. If they don’t have your number, we can give it to you, but we’ll first need to verify your identity (ID). Contact us and we’ll send you a link that lets you verify your ID securely online. Learn about ID verification.

Alternatively, visit the LeavePlus Member Centre at 478 Albert St, East Melbourne (Mon-Fri 9:00am – 4:00pm). Bring 100 points of ID with you, including at least one document that has a photo. This includes a passport or driver licence. Get in touch with us to learn about the documents we can accept.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) helps to ensure that you are the only person who can access your LeavePlus member profile online – even if someone finds out your password. To be MFA-ready, we need your current mobile number – this is the number we’ll send your authentication codes to for logging in after you have set up your MFA.

To get started, log in to the LeavePlus  portal with your Registration Number and password. Ensure that your current mobile phone number is listed on your profile.

  • Select ‘Security’ from the settings menu (top right) or select ‘Security’ from the ‘More’ menu if using a mobile device or tablet.

  • Click ‘Turn On’ and select ‘Yes’ to confirm your choice.

  • You will be logged out of the LeavePlus portal, and your MFA will be active. You will be required to enter your Registration Number and password and will be sent an SMS code to log in.

An Authorised Contact is a person or organisation that you authorise to speak with LeavePlus on your behalf.

An Authorised Contact will have limited access to your account. This means they can make enquiries about your account and service record. However, they cannot update or change any details on your account – this can only be performed by you as the member.

A Power of Attorney (POA) holder is a person that you have provided written authorisation to represent or act on your behalf in business, financial, legal and/or personal matters.

A POA will have full access to your account. This means they can, subject to any written restrictions in the document:

  • Update your account details.

  • Submit claims.

  • Enquire about your long service leave entitlement.

If you have already set up online access but have forgotten your details, click the “Login” link at the top right of this page, the select ‘forgot password’ and follow the prompts to reset your password.

If you still haven’t can’t log in, please visit our Contact Us page to find out how to get in touch with LeavePlus.

Click the “Login” link at the top right of this page, the select ‘forgot password’ and follow the prompts to reset your password. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. Click the link to take you to the LeavePlus Portal and set a new password.

If you attempted to reset your password but didn’t receive the email to your email account after 5 minutes, we recommend checking your spam or junk folders in your email inbox. You can also select the ‘resend email’ option.

If you are not receiving a SMS code to your mobile number, please visit our Contact Us page to find out how to get in touch with LeavePlus.

You will receive an email from us with instructions on how to unlock your account. If you can’t remember your password, we recommend following the prompts for ‘forgot password’ to avoid locking it again.

We recommend first checking your spam or junk folders in your email inbox for the email.

If you still can’t find it, click the “Login” link at the top right of this page and follow the prompts for ‘forgot password’, this will resend you the email with instructions on how to unlock your account.

Whilst we don’t have an app, our website is mobile compatible. You can create bookmark shortcut to the LeavePlus Portal on your mobile home screen. Instructions for common web browsers are below

  1. On your device, open your internet browser  

  2. Type https://member.leaveplus.com.au/login into the navigation bar.

Safari (iOS)

  1. At the bottom of your screen, tap the Share button on the toolbar.

  2. Tap Add to Home Screen.

  3. (Optional) Edit the text that will appear under the icon on your Home screen.

  4. In the top-right corner, tap Add.

Chrome Browser

  1. Tap the Menu button (three dots, top right).

  2. Tap Add to Home screen.

  3. Edit the text that will appear under the icon on your Home screen.

  4. Just below the text bar, tap Install /Add. The bookmark will now appear in your application menu.

Samsung Internet

  1. Tap the Options button (bottom right).

  2. Tap Add page to.

  3. Select Home screen.

  4. The bookmark will now appear on your Home screen.

We’ve made some security updates to better protect our members and further enhance the security of their account.

No, we do not accept international mobile numbers when setting up Multi-Factor Authentication.

If you are already registered with LeavePlus but have never logged in the LeavePlus Portal, click the ‘Login’ button at the top, then click ‘Forgot Password’. Then follow the prompts to set a password for your registration.
