Protecting Your Entitlements: ID Verification Now Required for All Claims

As part of ongoing improvements to our member experience, we’re adding an extra layer of security to keep your long service leave safe and your information secure

Here, we outline the changes and provide instructions on how to verify your identity when making a claim.

LeavePlus protects your portable long service leave, so we’re continually improving our security. To ensure you’re the one who can access your well-earned entitlement, we’ve introduced ID verification.

When you’re ready to submit a long service leave claim, you’ll be asked to verify your identity through a quick, secure process. This protects your long service leave and gives you confidence that your personal information is safe.

What You Need To Know:

  • You must complete ID verification before submitting a claim.
  • Have a mobile phone or smart device with a camera ready, along with a current form of photo ID (driver’s licence or passport).
  • Verification is valid for 12 months, so you only need to complete it once a year.

How To Verify Your Identity:

The process takes a few minutes

  1. Log in to the LeavePlus portal and click the verification link in the banner on the claims page.
  2. A new window will open in FrankieOne, our trusted secure ID verification provider.
  3. If you’ve logged on from a desktop device, be prompted to scan a QR code to complete verification on your mobile device.
  4. Follow the prompts and upload your photo ID using your device’s camera.
  5. Once complete, you’ll return to the claims page where the claim button will turn green and activate.
  6. The banner will disappear once your identity is verified, and you can proceed with your claim.

Important: Ensure your details with LeavePlus are up to date and match your legal documents in your profile prior to claiming.
